SCUBA DIVING

Puerto Galera offers some of the best scuba diving in South East Asia with more than 30 prime dive sites on the northern part of Mindoro Oriental most of which being just a few minutes boat ride from the resort.

Oriental Mindoro is separated from Luzon by the Verde Island Passage which is very deep so clear water with visibility in the range of 10-30m is very common to the dive sites of Puerto Galera depending on the water temperature, current strength and wind.

Puerto Galera is a declared marine protection zone and home to a a fantastic variety of large and small aquatic creatures including a wide variety of hard and soft corals along with hundreds of species of of tropical fish life.

Dives range between 5 and 40 metres in depth and with the water temperature varying between 26 - 29 °C makes for very comfortable diving with a 3mm wetsuit.

We offer the whole range of PADI Courses from Discover Scuba to Dive Master using the latest teaching materials and multimedia techniques. Specialty courses include Deep, Wreck, Photo, Multilevel, Drift, Equipment, Night navigation.
